Hello Brides! I have a very plain princess cut solitaire, on a plain band. My husband mentioned an upgrade in the future, or adding to my ring with a halo.
I have a few questions. I already have my two diamond wedding bands, and am wondering if I do a halo, does my band need to be diamond as well. Or can you have a halo design around the diamond and keep the plan band? I am thinking that three rows of diamond bands would not look good. (See pic)
Can you please show me your princess halos???

I think adding a halo to your ring would take away from the look. It would be too much going on for my taste. I think your set is beautiful as is. If you really wanted to upgrade some day you could get a bigger center stone for your engagement ring but I think you should keep the nice clean look it has.

@LaceyHarlow: i love your bands! i have a very similar, simple princess cut solitaire on an 18k white gold band, and i wasnt sure what kind of band to get. i was thinking it would have to be princess cut diamonds, but usually those bands are channel set and i dont think i want that. now im thinking a similar style to yours looks lovely! thanks for posting your pic!

I really do love your set. I agree that the 3 bands of diamonds would be too much if you add the halo. I think it would look beautiful adding the halo and leaving the band plain. That being said, some women can rock a lot of bling and it looks great.
This is mine and the band will look just like the band on the e-ring. I get it in a few weeks and can’t wait!!
