I don't think it did much to fix it then...if anything I'm sure there will be a few years of "oh! just like kate middleton!" to anyone who has a dark sapphire ring.
I have a pink center stone and I STILL get either "oh! like jennifer lopez!" and 'oh! like mariah carey!". Not that either of those were people I aspired to emulate, of course...I suppose I'd rather be compared to Kate Middleton.
I have ALWAYS loved Princess Diana's ring! I showed my fiance pictures of it before we got engaged, however he was never convinced about the colored stone thing. So needless to say I am SOOOO jealous of Kate Middleton right now lol! But I love my moissanite so it's all good :-)
Well, people nowadays like to copy the celebs and the rich and famous. I mean, how many people are putting The Life That I Have by Leo Marks into their wedding program because of Chelsea Clinton? And how much did weddings change AFTER Princess Di was married?
So maybe people will start looking at other stones. ^_^
