I have a princess cut solitaire and my wedding band has the round diamonds. When it is paired together, it is not noticeable at all that the band is round. Some brides think the mismatch takes away from the engagement ring, but its all up to you.

I have the opposite- round center stone and princess cut stones on the band. I think it’s lovely. 🙂

I don’t have any pictures of my wedding bands, but I have a princess solitaire and then FI and I loved the look of the round diamond pave set wedding bands- one on each side of my ring! I love the look of it.

My ring is totally mismatched.  My ering is princess with princess side stones and my wedding ring is small round diamonds channel set.  The wedding ring that “matched” my ering was out of our budget at the time…..but I love how my two rings look now.  I like the mismatched look…

My ring is Princess with round stones and I think it looks great together.  I’m going to try and upload a photo (first time).

I have a solitaire princess cut e-ring and my wedding band has 12 round smaller diamonds on it.  Initially, I thought that it would be a better match to find a matching princess cut wedding band but when I had tried it on, the match was too similar to my e-ring that it looked dull in a way.  However, when I paired up my e-ring with round diamond wedding band, it looked so much better, the differences in them stood out beautifully.

I love them both the way they are.  Both have significant meaning in its own way.  It is a matter of preference on how you want your rings to look together.

I hope this helps.

Here’s  a picture of them together.
