Our wedding photo package does not include printed proofs. We get all our photos, retouched, with printing rights in digital format.
There will be roughly 500 of them (she said picture a minute on average, we had her for 8 hours so that’s 480 pictures….)
Should we print a proof album? I’m really hoping that we’ll have the pictures before we go away in 10 days. The photograher said 4-6 weeks, today is a month. We leave on the 27th and that’s a day shy of 6 weeks. I promise I have not been bugging her and I’m not going to tell her our hope – I don’t want her to feel pressured and rush. I’m thinking that if we have them, it would be great to have a proof album to bring with us (we’re going to visit DH’s family & some friends who couldn’t make it). That way people can see the actual pictures and my in laws can tell us which ones they like & want copies of (trying to do that on a computer with them would be a nightmare).
So what do you think? Should we spend the apx $100 to print the proof album? Should we cheap out on the printing (of the proofs) and get them at walmart or should we spend the money and get them printed where we’re actually going to print any photos we want (a professional printer, more expensive but WAY better colour).
