Hello! First of all, this is my very first post! I have searched some topics on here before but finally was able to log in and start participating! I frequent the 911 app from The Knot but sometimes my questions don’t get very many responses.
Here’s my question…
Have any of you decided to go with a print bridesmaid dress over a solid color? My colors are peach and cream and I am having a heck of a time finding affordable (under $100) semi-formal dresses for my bridesmaids. I want them to be comfortable AND I want them to be able to wear their dress again.
Here is a dress that I found that I love but am wondering what your opinions are.
I found this dress at Dillards for $69
Here is a picture I took on my phone. Thank you so much for any and all feedback!

Welcome welcome! I think the print is really pretty. Do you like it? Have any of your BMs been able to try it on, just to see what it looks like on a real person? That might help convince you. 🙂

If you’re having a sort of casual wedding, then I think it would look great. If its more of a fancier wedding, then it might look a bit odd.

I love the idea of a print dress for bridesmaids. I think it has the potential to look really beautiful and sophisticated. I am not sure about that particular print, though… It’s a very pretty dress, it just depends how formal your wedding is. Can you tell us more about your venue and event details? Like are you getting married in a church, on a beach, at night, etc.?

Welcome!! I love a printed Bridesmaid or Best Man dress. The ones I got for my girls are printed and they love them and are SO excited about being able to wear them again. I guess it does depend on how fancy your wedding is going to be, but I think they’re great!

Our wedding will be far from black tie! It is more on the casual side. The Groomsmen are wearing tan suits and a peach tie (no vests). I am actually wearing a Bill Levkoff bridesmaid dress as my wedding gown. It’s style 334 if anyone cares to look. We’re getting married in my church and we’re not doing any special decorations for the ceremony. Our venue is in the outskirts of town on about 10 acres of land. It is not super fancy but a nice space (kind of hard to describe). We’re having a BBQ buffet for our dinner with mac & cheese, baked beans, and pickle spears. We’re having a mini fruit pizza bar and donuts for dessert instead of cake.
I am the type of person that just wants everyone to be comfortable and be stress free. My sister has been the only one to try on the dress. I did not see it on her but she did say she liked it. I didn’t want her to feel like she had to model it for me because she’s pretty self conscious at the moment. Thanks for your responses!

In that case, I think your choice is perfect. I think they’ll look really nice with your groomsmen and your more laid back approach. Excellent choice!

The dress you chose is perfect for the wedding you described. I’m a HUGE fan of print dresses; although our 2 attendants wore a solid color, our flowergirls wore flower-print dresses and they looked fabulous.
