We also had trouble using the main paper tray for our small (STD) envelopes, as the envelopes tended to get pulled through crooked. I tried using the special feed tray for photo paper, which worked better. I also found that if I adjusted the paper size and orientation so that the envelope fed through top first (rather than side first, which was the default for envelope printing) that it fed better. I suspect that the flap was messing up the feed and making it pull crooked. I hope that helps.
That is frustrating!
What about printing the addresses on pretty labels like these?

Tape the envelopes to a bigger piece of paper with a not so sticky tape or removable glue dots?
good luck!
Yeah move the envelope around different directions, and try all the other recommendations, we have to hand feed ours and it has to be a certain way and the second time the printer tries to grab the paper also totally annoying!! I would make labels if that couldn't happen though.
I had the same issue and like V said, I ended up using re-positional double sided tape and taped the envelopes onto an 8.5x11 sheet of paper and that worked fine for me. Tedious, but it worked.
Yep, we hand-fed ours too. There was no way we could stack them up and have it work at all.
My problems is I can't customize the size of the envelope. My response envelope is 5.2 X 4 and the smallest word will go is 6.4 x 4. Can anyone help

I have a Samsung CLP-315 color laser printer that I bought about a month ago so I could print all of our wedding paper goods. Lo and behold the darn RSVP cards and evelopes are too small to feed through the printer.
I've given up on the cards, I can just print them 4-up on a 8.5x11 piece of card stock. But, I'm pulling my hair out over the envelopes. I bought a custom stamp with my parents' address, but the first trial "stamp" today looks like total crap. Help please! I need suggestions (the darn gocco is looking better every day!!).
