You should probably figure out where you want to do the printing before you do the design.  If you go with a print shop each one will have their own specs for bleed and resolution.  Most places will go with 300 dpi.

We’re printing ours at http://www.cardsandpockets.com  Looking over the boards, several other bees seem to have had good experiences, and they’re definitely reputable.  And we’re doing a similar thing, a friend is designing them for us.

i agree – cardsandpockets.com is a great website! i ordered my cardstock from them (love their metallic selections!), designed the invites on my computer, then had them printed at kinko’s.
