I’m wondering whether anyone has experience printing on Paper Source Luxe paper (either at home or using a print shop like Kinkos).
Today at Paper Source they said that it will not work well to print on this paper using a laser printer because of the paper’s texture. The people at Kinkos said the same thing when I asked them if they would print my invitations on the Luxe paper.
Someone else told me that inkjet doesn’t print well on that paper either.
I really like the paper and am still hoping to use it. Has anyone used this paper and if so, how did it turn out?

I have not used that type of paper, but I have successfully laser printed on curious metallics and stardream metallics. I also had curious metallic cover printed with both regular and thermographic print at a professional printer. Do either of these brands make something similar? You can get them at cutcardstock.com, paper-papers.com, paperworks, com and paperandmore.com (I have used them all) I think I have also used Shine brand metallics successfully as well. Inkjets printers are a no-no because the paper doesn’t absorb the ink and it just never dries.

That type of paper is meant to be professionally printed. Laser printing will flake and inkjet printing will smear. I’ve had luck with stamping it though. I used it for my wedding stationery and made a stamp with our names on it.
