Thicker paper is difficult to print on – and can even mess up the printer. I have a laser printer, the HP Color laser jet 2605 DN and it will take 105lb paper, but it must be through the manual feed. Additionally, the ink sometimes will have streak lines from the roller. It wouldn’t be as tricky if the paper was a lighter weight – to be honest. Message me if you want more info.

I personally like HP, they’ve always worked for me. I know what you mean – printing on the cardstock, and it saves you some money since you don’t have to buy adhesive etc. Try the printer from Costco – you’ve got nothing to loose. Best of luck to you =)

A good laser printer should be able to handle the cardstock on manual feed. I have an older hp that does well and a newer one (also 2605 DN) that allows you to choose the paperstock in the printer’s menu. Ink jet printers often do not print well on card stock, so be sure to buy a laser printer and be sure the manual feed has a straight paper feed, or you will have pages that curl.
