Stardream Metallic works wonderfully with a laser printer. I've done a lot of print materials on Stardream Silver Metallic and the results have been great.Â
AVOID.
Stardream (I had Rose Quartz) was a nightmare to print on with an Inkjet.
It worked wonderfully with the Gocco ink, though. After dealing with the envelopes from them, I went to Paper Source and just got their envelopes. Those printed wonderfully.
You need a laser printer. Stardream is too glossy for an inkjet.
I used opal stardream paper, but had to feed the sheets in one by one because it wouldn't draw the paper up correctly if I just left it in a stack.
But other than that it worked like a dream in my laser.
Thanks for the advice! I have a laser printer I can use at work, so I will run a test sheet through today.

I bought some sample pieces of Stardream Lagoon paper and tried printing on them with my HP Ink Jet printer, even after 20 minutes of drying time the ink still wiped right off. Is there a different brand of ink jet that will work? Will a laser printer work? My other option would be to print on vellum (which I have been able to do) and use it at an overlay, but then why buy such beautiful stardream paper? Does anyone of a trick they've used to print on this paper?

Is the Quartz Metallic or Silver Metallic easier to print on than the lagoon?

Thank you!
