I don’t think it actually matters, but we always put my name first (bride).  I think I read once on here that traditionally the brides name goes first, but I persoanlly dont think either way is wrong

I’ve always thought the bride’s name went first, just like in an invite where the bride’s parents are announcing their daughter will marry so-and-so, the son of so-and-so.  I don’t think it’s a rule though so do what you want.  I think in invites though people would probably notice.

I told my Fiance my name is going first becaues after we get married, people will always address his name first so I get my “time” HAHA 😀

I also always thought the bride’s name goes first, but I’m not sure etiquette wise what’s correct.

Traditionally yes.  My Fiance got a little butt-hurt that my name kept going first so we’re alternating.  For example, our website URL has his name first.

Haha @JoJo

The bride should go first, but my fiance was like “why are you always first on everything?” too, so we did the same thing with our URL.

But, STD’s and invites were me first.

You get the top billing on this one!  Savor it all you want because after you get married, your name sort of disappears and a lot of times, you will only be addressed as Mrs. John Smith.  Bummer.

I think you can just put it however it sounds better to you. We did my name first just because to me “CLare and Noah” sounds better than “Noah and Clare” but that was my only reason for doing that!!!
