    Hi,

I bought my dress from Priscilla of Boston in New York.  I read some bad reviews online about their alterations and I am worried.  Did anyone buy their dress and have alterations made there?  I am not sure if I should have my dress altered there or search for a seamstress somewhere else?

    Thanks!

I am having a terrible experience with them.. like no dress being produced! It should have been in 1 month ago! Even tried to contact customer service who ratted me out to the NYC branch and told me it was me who was wrong, not them. They all ganged up on me, no one is helping..

    Sorry!

I got my dress from PoB in Short Hills NJ. The seamstress there, Maria, was wonderful and made my dress just perfect. However, I hated my experience with all of the sales people. I had a muslin dress fitting a few months after I purchased the dress beacsue the dress was 100% lace and they can't hem it after it is made. When it came in, it was 7 inches too long! This was 3 weeks before my wedding. I was freaking out. They had to send it back to the manufacturer and have it remade. The final dress came in 1 week before my wedding and they had to add sleeves to the dress. In the end, the dress looked lovely and I had it for my wedding day, but the experience was not plesant.
