We got ours at the PofB in Ardmore (a gorgeous teal color, strapless PB 316 if you google it). It was just over your price range including the "group discount", but my bridesmaids were psyched about the fabric and the fit, both of which seemed so much better than at other vendors. I'd recommend them, but stay on top of them re: ordering. That process took a month!
Oh - and they have a sale rack where I found a great reh. dinner dress for under $50 - you might luck out there too...
Siiigh I love their dresses. You can find something for about $200, although with tax and alterations, it might be a bit over. I've been to the one here in NYC a few times, and always had a great experience. They have beautiful dresses and colors/fabrics--I'm so sad they didn't work for us :(
@tandembikewedding: We're also using PB 316, but in Fig!
I agree that the quality and the fit seemed better than other vendors, and I definitely agree on the ordering process. It did seem to take a long time, but my bridesmaids are all over the country, so that might have had something to do with it. The dresses haven't come in yet, but I'm hoping that they won't need a lot of alterations. They were a little over $200 (I think $245), but I paid the difference so that each bridesmaid only had to pay $200. The PB in Ardmore is very nice (I've also been to their stores in SF and NYC), and I think you would have a good experience there. Good luck!
I was just in a wedding and we got our dresses from their. They were $190. The dresses looked really nice.
The POB dress I wanted for my girls was $248, which I thought was too much. We ended going with something else, but they were lovely in person!
My two maids of honor got their dresses at the PoB in Ardmore. I got my wedding gown from their so the girls got 10% of their dresses. They loved them! I didn't want them to spend alot of money but they found two dresses of the same color, same material but different styles and with the 10% off they were each under $200. The sales consultant Erica was wonderful and followed up with me a few days later to see if I had any other bridesmaids that needed dresses before she placed the order. I have been very happy with the service especially because I live in Los Angeles so most of my correspondence has been via the phone.
Good Luck!
Look at their vineyard collection. They don't call it that anymore, but if you go to their website and narrow it down to under $200, they pop up. Most short dresses are only $188. They are so cute.
thanks for all the feedback. i'll post with an update to see if we end up with anything. can't wait to check that one off the list!
I have worn PoB gowns in two other weddings and must say the quality of the fabrics and the construction of the gowns are absolutely superb. PoB dresses, while expensive, are absolutely stunning. I shopped there for my wedding dress (although ended up buying a La Sposa gown instead), but have decided to get my bridesmaids dresses there.I can't help but rave about the high level of customer service we received while we were there. We decided on #1422 out of the Vineyard Collection for my winter wedding. Love!

I have really been torn between getting my bridesmaids dresses from PoB or from Bari Jay. I am sure the quality is different, since it is two very different designers, but I have found things I love from both designers.
Good luck!

Hey all. So I've been dreading the BM shopping b/c I feel bad asking my friends spend money. I don't know why I did it for many of them when I was in their weddings. Anyway, there is a Priscilla nearby and they have 10% off so I thought I would try there. Does anyone have experience there? Can I find something for about $200?
