Wow, I can't believe they're closing. Maybe I'll take advantage of this to get a second dress!
@Rachael432: Hi, there! Where did you get your first dress from? May not be a bad idea to get a reception/dancing dress as your second dress? I have to get two dresses as well (one for our Catholic wedding in NYC and another for our symbolic ceremony/reception in Mexico)! Just starting my dress search a mere 6 months away from the wedding (I know most bridal shops advise that you ORDER your dress at least 6 months in advance, so I could really use all the advice on dresses!). :)
I purchased my second dress at the Manhattan sample sale. I went on Monday and they did have a lot of selection still left over. Some of the dresses look a little beat up but the one i purchased was from the fall 2011 line so the sample was in pretty good condition. They do have a smaller selection of bridesmaid dresses. They have jewelery, spanxs, long bras, and veils as well - although the veils are a bit beaten up as well.
I looked at veils at the PoB in Miami and they were indeed pretty beat up. Holes and tears all of the ones I liked :( But it seems they do have plenty of very pretty dresses left (at least in Miami).
There have been other threads about this...i bet you'll find people who went in those threads.

When I picked my dress up at the Tysons Corner VA store on the 29th there were a lot of dresses and accessories left, and many of them looked to be in excellent condition. If i were a sample size I might have just walked out of there with 2 dresses.
Thanks for all the thoughts & ideas, Ladies! :) I'm going this Sunday, so I'm hoping I find something...

Hi, Ladies! I'm new to this site but have been lurking around for the past month (and gathering some great ideas in the process)!
My fiance and I are getting married this May in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I realize I'm probably a little late in starting this, but I am just getting around to looking at dresses. Hence, I'm hoping to find an "off-the-rack" wedding dress and have also set up an appointment at Nicole Miller Bridal in Soho (NYC) since they advice you to order at least 3 months in advance.
Also, has anyone checked out the 70% off Priscilla of Boston Closing Sale in your area? Has anybody checked out the Manhattan location (and if so, would love to hear about your experience!)? There were some really beautiful dresses on the website!!!
