Can anyone suggest a good honeymoon spot with Private Villas at a resaonable cost?  I heard Sandels might have this...has anyone been?

Two years ago we went on a vacation to SANDALS GRANDE OCHO RIOS and stayed in one of their villas.  It was about $3,000 for 6 nights... Pricey, but it had ocean views and was so relaxing.  I'd check out their website, they might be running specials based on the economy?

we just returned from sandals grande ocho rios for our honeymoon. we absolutely loved it there. we stayed in a plantation villa, which has 4 suites in one building and a shared pool for all 4 suites. but the pool was basically private - we never saw anyone else in our building and we went swimming every night in the pool by ourselves. we got ours for 65% off because of the economy, so everything including direct flight from philly for both of us cost $2400 for 5 nights. you can't  beat it. i do recommend reading the trip advisor reviews - the resort isn't brand new or super luxurious,  but the pool and beach were great, the staff were INCREDIBLE, food delicious - it was the perfect relaxing honeymoon. feel free to message me if you have more questions.

We honeymooned at Sandals Grand Bahamian, and it was fantastic. We also stayed in a four-suite villa with a private pool. We loved the villas because they were set back from the noisy main areas of the resort. Like princetonbride said, the food was superb, the staff was very friendly, and we paid a good price (about 6,000 for seven nights, including airfare and butler service). Grand Bahamian was the best reviewed Sandals resort on Trip Advisor, which is why we chose it.

That depends on what you consider reasonable!  We just booked our honeymoon at the Sandal's in St. Lucia.  It sound great because there's a rainforest, volcano, and other day trips so there are nice activities and then there's the resort which I'm assuming is amazing!  We did the room with a balcony but not a villa.  They were a lot more money.  Even still, our honeymoon is ending up to be $4,000, that's a lot to us but worth it!
