Pro pics came back from our photographer Xiomara Gard, of Imago Dei Photography. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, and seeing the pics has been like reliving our wedding day in the most wonderful way! I’m so glad I splurged on a pro photographer; for all those considering eloping, definitely worth it!
Darling Husband and I spent the morning of our wedding tracking down a last minute vegan wedding cake (not hard to find in Portland), driving out to the Tillamook, OR which is about 1.5 hrs outside of Portland, getting our marriage license, and doing some last minute shopping. We checked into our condo (DH played a horrid prank on me with the rooms; told me we were going to have to share a room with his daughter and her friends due to availability issues, when in reality we had a separate condo), and started getting ready.
My bonus daughter and her friends were on hand to help me get into my dress and get pretty.
Once we were all ready, we got set to go down to the ceremony location on the beach.
As you can see, it was a bit of a hike down to the beach; my 4 inch Stuart Weitzman wedges were not as practical as I’d hoped. But, it made for some good times 🙂
Walking down the “aisle”…
(more pics to come in a moment; don’t want to overload the interwebs)

First kiss as husband and wife…
My new family (we decided that my son should stay home; he just turned 4 today, and we weren’t thinking that the significance would be understood by him, plus flying him cross country and having to worry about him on the trip, etc):
And we finished the evening off with some cake (from Whole Foods):
All in all, a perfect day that ended with pizza and more cake in our PJs as a family. We spent the rest of the weekend hiking, enjoying each other, and drinking champagne on our balcony at sunset!

@LeahP: It’s a pretty heavily customized Asoen Bridals dress that I got from a dress boutique that was going out of business. Not sure where else the sell in the states; it’s a Vietnamese based designer.
