Congratulations. It looks like a great day. You look stunning and you all look so happy. (And not nearly old enough to have such a beautiful daughter) :)
You look beautiful! I love your ceremony site with the lanterns, it's gorgeous!
Thank you!
@ladyartichoke ...Yes, I do look young for my age
thank you for the compliment!
@bakerella....thank you! Funny thing about the lanterens is they were left over the the wedding the day before & the owners of the venue left them up in case I wanted to use them & I LOVED them. It would have been an extra charge but I just got lucky on it.
Our wedding day turned out great! A few things went wrong but nothing that was too big of a deal.
My sister flaked on getting her hair done & canceled the night before the wedding so we had to scramble & style her hair a few mins before the wedding!
A bee flew around teasing us during the ceremony :)
We had upped our guest count to the caterers & paid for an extra 30 people and they ended up not showing so we had lots of extra food (about $500) worth but we were able to give it to friends and family to take with them.
I expected more people to dance and I felt our DJ did a good job & tried to get people on the floor but I guess people were shy? It was mostly the wedding party dancing LOL!
The bar tender decided to close the bar at 8 vs 9 which was the time I was told it would be open til so my dad offered to pay him to stay an extra hour. They also didn't serve the wines we had requested.
So, those were the only probs we had but the guests didn't know about these things & I just tried to go with the flow & enjoy our wedding day to the fullest!
@tera7363: I love love love those BM dresses. Where are they from?
Beautiful! My favorite photo was from your ceremony... I think it's at 00:34.
Congrats!
You looked gorgeous and all your hard work on your DIY projects paid off!

Our wedding was on Sunday November 13 in Dorchester, SC and we had about 60 guests. We were on a budget of $7,000 so I did a lot of DIY projects to save money. A lot of guests commented on the things I made & amount of work I put into the wedding. My photographer even said I should go into business making bouquets LOL :) I posted a slideshow on youtube of some pics & put comments in about certain projects I made. Bear with me please because the video is a little too fast but it can be paused it was my first attempt at a slideshow.
ENJOY!
