I have all my photos back now so here are the ceremony and the reception!! Our ceremony took place in an Orthodox chapel but it was a non-denominational ceremony. We had our little cousins read a really cute Dr. Seuss poem and we did personalized vows which I barely got through without sobbing but managed lol After the reception we had the guests come through and grab some glow sticks for the dance floor which was a hit with the kids. Apparently there was a competition for who could collect the most glow sticks! We had guests take a shot if they wanted before the reception. Our first dance was to a song I wrote and recorded for my husband. It was slightly nerve-racking having over 200 guests listenening as we danced but it seemed to go over well and I am glad I decided to do it. Our DJ was awesome and got everyone on the dance floor by having all the guests form one huge conga line around the room.
Everyone seemed to have fun and we really couldn’t have asked for a better day. It was exactly what we wanted and lots of things turned out better than I had hoped.
