Ha. You’re so like me. I’ve probably taken 15 in the past week at this point…in a variety of brands. I just don’t think “flukes” like that happen. I know I’m not the person you want responding because I’m pretty much your same date and whatnot, but I feel you, sister!

But sometimes I do wonder….here I am contemplating telling family that I’m pregnant on Christmas but I haven’t even seen a doctor yet!! What if there IS some kind of fluke?!?!

@cbco:  LOL, stop testing!  You are only going to drive yourself nuts.  Congrats on the 6 bfp’s!

@cbco:  He’s quite wrong. Some doctors have you come in for an official blood test, many won’t even see you until 8 or more weeks along.

@cbco:  Men! haha.

Ah well, when I’m being rational, I really do think we are both definitely okay. I’ve heard of pregnancy not showing up in urine but showing up in blood tests…but I’ve never heard of pregnancy showing up in urine and it not actually being true.

I was the same way I totally didn’t believe it. It will sink in eventually, but your husband needs to maybe do some reading up on the subject? lol

congratulations

After I took 2 I went to the doctor and said ‘I want to test for pregnancy’. So the nurse (at my regular doctor) was like -what are you here for. So I told her I wanted a prego test cause I tested postive at home twice. She was like- It’s the same test. You are pregnant. But the ran it anyway and it was a pee test and of course positive. I did get a flu shot though. So not a total waste. False postitive are really really really rare (and often are just early miscarriages)

@cbco:  I’m almost nine weeks and haven’t been to the doctor yet. I’ll see a midwife at 11 weeks. I had three positive POAS, I’ve missed two periods, my boobs are growing, I’m exhausted, hungry, and emotional, plus I’m nauseated off and on. I think I’m pregnant and you are, too!

@cbco:  you’re most definitely pregnant, stop testing! False positives are pretty much non existent. You don’t have HCG in your system (which is what makes the test positive) unless you’re pregnant. Congrats! 🙂
