haha, it can be addictive.  Although, I think the tent idea is awesome!

Our problems is that we don’t have that much on there so we started feeling pressure to add things.  So we have $160 Waterford highballs and a $115 frame.  Seriously, those might need to get taken off.

Get in there and edit it!

I only registered for formal china and a few serving pieces.  I tend to buy once and buy top quality, so I don’t need new appliances or gadgets.  I let the registry lady throw a ton of stuff on my list and then I edited it that night to only leave what I really wanted on the list.

@Cady:  Yeah after I got home I realized that $115 5×7 frame was ridiculous, that got deleted.

I agree get in there and change it up before it’s too late.  I found registering to be such a huge task that it took me FOUR trips to really do it properly, and in that time I registered for many things that I ended up taking off (and sometimes putting back on again).

I did my first registry at Target the other day…. I started looking over it, and in my excitement, I had scanned a trashcan that was almost $100!  LOL!  Seriously?!  Ugh…

I sure had fun though!!!  =)

Haha, we had this same issue! We did go back in and change some of the items we’d selected. After that, we waited to see everything that we got and then ended up exchanging some of the less practical items for the more practical ones from our registry (e.g. exchanging 6 vases for a trash can).

We got a ton of stuff we know we will want in the future, so we are storing it at our IL’s house right now. They offered to keep some of our gifts until we buy a house. If you think you might want it and someone wants to buy it for you, I don’t see the harm in registering for something you might not need right away…assuming you get all the essentials!

That’s why I deleted the night I registered – took off more than I left on.  Just return the things you won’t use.  And clean up the registry now!!

nothing wrong with registering for tents! i would have if we hadn’t bought a great one at costco last year! The silverware my FH decided he wanted though is 50.00 per place setting… I am so sure!
