It sounds like the size you are selecting does not support borderless printing. I don’t think there’s any way around it, other than to choose a different size that’s supported.

Have you tried calling HP for support with that particular printer?  If that doesn’t work, you could always try to make your own template/design in photoshop/InDesign or some other software.  Unfortunately I’m not very familiar with HP printers or invitation “kits.”  Hopefully some other ladies have more information on that.

For some reason, I was unable to edit my post. I looked around online and I found a LOT of people asking the same question as you, but unfortunately, no answers. I would probably contact HP and see if they can help you out.

Ralia1982:  Would it be possible for you to print them and just cut the border off?

I don’t understand what border is printing. I didn’t use Wilton, I used a different brand and printed my own, but never had a problem with borders.

Maybe this will help, though. Try to trick your printer into thinking it’s a different printer. Looks like the HP Photosmart 7150, 7350, and 7550 printers can do borderless printing. So maybe trick your printer into thinking it’s one of those?

Ralia1982:  I’m confused, what border are you trying to get rid of?  Is it printing something extra that isn’t in the pic?

Ralia1982:  Maybe call Wilton?  It seems odd that they would include a sample that looks different than the intended finished product.  Since the invite looks like it’s just text, maybe you could just do a simple, text only template without the border (you could probably even use MSword, although I don’t recommend it).

Can you post a pic of what it looks like when it’s printing the border? Are you just printing plain text? I’m not sure why there would be a border in that case.

I used Wilton invitation kits and I didn’t have any problems.  Are you using their website or did you download the Microsoft word template.  I had a MUCH easier time with the templates
