Weddingbee boards

I got an email yesterday saying I had a private message, but when I clicked on the link, that message was nowhere to be found under my profile name.  I went ahead and sent a message to the person who messaged me, letting her know that I wasn't receiving it for some reason and could she re-send..... that message is now in my "sent" box, but it does not have the screen name of the person to whom I sent it (and her original message to me is still not showing up).  I have a feeling she probably didn't receive the message I sent to her.  Are there issues going on that others are having with private messaging?  Or am I doing something wrong?
