I've seen ushers make that lap before. If you are having groomsmen usher, then that sounds fine. No one will notice the groomsman coming back around, they should be watching the couples coming down the aisle.

Just saw a post about who walks mom down the aisle and it got me thinking. We've got 3 moms and 2 groomsmen, and our ceremony is going to be outside and too casual to require ushers.
No grandmas will be able to make it, so I'm thinking:
"Canon in D" starts
Minister, Groom, and Best Woman come in from the side
GM1 & my stepmom process
GM2 & Mother of the Groom process, followed by Father of the Groom
GM2 goes up to stand with the groom
GM1 makes a lap around to the back and walks in with my mom followed by my stepdad.
GM1 goes up to stand with the groom
MOH1
MOH2
"How Beautiful" Starts
me and my dad
Did I get the order right? Is it okay to have the groomsman do that lap? And should my stepmom's dad and my mom's dad be a part of the procession even though no grandmas will be there?
