Bees, I’m stuck. I know I don’t want to walk to Canon in D (bad memories from piano lessons, let’s just leave it at that) and I want to do something a little more fun.
I love the Beatles, but FH does not (really?!? who doesn’t love the Beatles?!?) – so right now all those awesome songs are out (unless I can convince him otherwise).
So, here’s some others that I love, but don’t know if they have any wedding “appropriate” music:
Rob Thomas/Matchbox Twenty (love “If You’re Gone” – not really a wedding song though)
Prince (probably too sexy for the ceremony, but I will rock out to him at the reception!)
Jason Mraz (we’re having “Lucky” as our first dance – can I have his music twice?)
And I’m having a brain fart and can’t think of my other loves, so . . . yeah.
And I’m always looking for new favs – any recommendations would be fantastic!

The processional is strictly the bride’s choice. You can walk down the aisle to anything you want, so long as your venue doesn’t have any restrictions.

@gocubbies: I really like that Ingrid Michaelson song – fun, upbeat and short!
Luckily we don’t have any restrictions since we’re at a “convention center” (for lack of a better description)

check out on youtube.com the “Vitamin String Quartet” they take a lot of new songs and put a twist on them by playing them with a string quartet! 🙂 They have a lot of REALLY good ones!!
