I have always pcitured myself walking down the isle to “I Will Not Take My Love Away” by Matt Wertz.
However, I have received some backlash from friends and family that a bridal processional should not have words. My bridesmaids will be walking down the isle to the Vitamin String Quartet’s version of “Chasing Cars.”
Do you guys think it is tacky to have a bridal processional with words? I should note that it is not a church wedding. We are actually getting married on a baseball field.

For the first song in the processional we have sung version of “simple gifts” and the end of the 2nd is a reprise of “simple gifts”. Nothing wrong with it

It’s your wedding – do as you please and enjoy!

I think you have to go with what you are comfortable with! I personally am not comfortable with singing during that moment but if it fits in with your overall vision, please go for it!
