I think it's beautiful. There's something very regal and elegant about it, and if nothing else, you could use it for your prelude, but I think it's great for a processional too. If you both love it, I say go for it. :)

I think it's a beautiful song. It may be a bit dreary, but I think you can make it work. As long as you like it thats all that matters. I'm using a sorta sad song as well. It;s called A river Flows through you by Yiruma.
@Cheyenne22--Twilight!!!!!! Thats awesome! I alsmost used that song as my processional song too. . .but then opted for Brian Crain's Butterfly Waltz
I used Loura's Theme from Silent Hill (the video game) soundtrack. I liked that I had a song that was "my theme song" although the spelling was a tiny bit off and I was the only person who knew the name of the song.
@loralie - I'm listening to the acoutic version of your song right now, I really love it....and my dad and my FFIL are both acoustic guitar-playing guys....they would love that. Thanks for your post!

Okay, about a year ago, Mr H started prefacing sentences with the words I had someday hoped to hear "When we get married...". Hee hee! My heart swoons everytime he says it...Sooo from then on of course, my lil brain has been scouring out & saving up wedding thoughts, plans, ideas etc...lots of which I share with him. However, this one I have not...
I already know who I will ask to be my BM's & one day while looking up some classical music for Mr. H on iTunes, I came across this song & instantly I could imagine my girls & I walking down the aisle to it. What song you ask?

Now we are planning for our someday soon wedding to take place outdoors, so it wouldn't be an uber-long church aisle to walk down....that's kind of why I am thinking to use it for my 4 BM's and for me also.
Do you think it is too sad or dreary? I listen to it a lot & love it, but then I wonder ugh...is it too dark in a way?
