My fiance and I are trying to come up with a good way to do our processional even though we have chosen not to have a bridal party.
I had read elsewhere that some people with no bridal party have their families go down the aisle beforehand to sit in the front rows. If we do this the people will be: my grandma, my mom and two brothers (and possibly my SIL), his mom and his brother and sister. I’m not sure how we should have them go down the aisle though! I was thinking my fiance could escort my grandma first (she is the only grandparent), our older brothers could escort our mothers, our younger siblings could walk together, and I will walk last alone. However, my mom is kindof set on my older brother walking me down the aisle, so I was thinking my younger brother could escort my mom and my SIL could walk with his sister… or something >.< I am not sure what to do!
Have you ever been to a wedding that had no bridal party? What did they do for the processional?

My best friend actually got married yesterday and didn’t have a bridal party. She did basically what you just said. She had some of the guys in the fam…such as bros and cousins…seat the grandparents and parents. Then bc she has children, they went down the isle right before here. Then she walked down the isle.
Do whatever is comfortable for you. No matter what I’m sure it will be a beautiful ceremony. (:

We didn’t have a bridal party, either, so I just made up my own processional It looked like this:
- My middle sister and nephew
- My youngest sister and grandma
- My SIL (she was also a reader)
- My Godfather (he was also a reader)
- My oldest sister (she was our third reader)
- My husband with both of his parents
- Me with both of my parents
It’s really up to you how you have everyone walk; just do what is best for you. There’s no wrong way to do it!

my co-worker didn’t have a bridal party. she had a flower girl and a ring bearer walk down, then her dad escorted her down. that’s it! =)
