If you ask your musician to play a different song before your processional, I'm sure he/she will have some great suggestions! I like when the song changes for the bride, too. It's very thoughtful of you to have your fiance walk down before you and have people stand for him. Ours was pretty traditional except that our organist played all my favorite, random songs. : P

For those of you doing a non-traditional/Catholic processional:
So I've always planned on walking down the aisle to Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. And I was gonna have the whole bridal party walk down to the same, cause I didn't want this big to-do when I walked in cause I don't want it to be all about me. But I went to a wedding 2 weeks ago where the music didn't change when the bride walked in, and it seemed a little anti-climatic. (They were also walking into Coldplay, which I don't know how you do that during a mass!!)
The procession is going to be Priest, Deacon, bridal party, little kids, then FI with his parents and then me with mine. Should I still have people stand? I was thinking about maybe switching the music/having people stand before my fiance walks in, that way we are both equal, you know?
What are y'all doing?
