For those of you doing a non-traditional/Catholic processional:
So I’ve always planned on walking down the aisle to Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring. And I was gonna have the whole bridal party walk down to the same, cause I didn’t want this big to-do when I walked in cause I don’t want it to be all about me. But I went to a wedding 2 weeks ago where the music didn’t change when the bride walked in, and it seemed a little anti-climatic. (They were also walking into Coldplay, which I don’t know how you do that during a mass!!)
The procession is going to be Priest, Deacon, bridal party, little kids, then Fiance with his parents and then me with mine. Should I still have people stand? I was thinking about maybe switching the music/having people stand before my fiance walks in, that way we are both equal, you know?
What are y’all doing?
