Pros:
*I can have the ceremony and reception in the same room, which means guests don't have to worry about transportation from one site to another.
*Because we are having it in November, they have offered us a great package that includes our DJ and a photo booth.
*"Private room so no need to worry about crashers
Cons:
*The bridal suite is big enough for me to fit in to get my dress on and that is it, so no getting ready at the venue for the girls
*Location, meaning that there is a highway exit coming from one direction, but not the other. So people coming from that direction will need to either drive all the way form one end of town to the other, or go to the next exit and back track. It's not to bad, but can be annoying.

My Pros & Cons:
Pros-
*We have it from Thursday to Sunday
*Our out of town guests can stay in the cabins on site and it helps pay for the venue.
*All the tables and chairs are there and available
*We can do whatever we please to decorate and are not restricted in anyway
*We can provide our own bar & bartenders without having to pay astronomical prices
*Choose our own caterer
*Our party doesn't have to shut down at a certain time, we can go all night long!
Cons-
*It's two floors and not as big as I originally thought. So we will have to have dinner downstairs and dancing upstairs. Possibly meaning two bars, and having guests get their food and then go back down stairs to eat it... ick
*Because their is limited space I have had to cut some people off the guest list, make an A & B list, and cut out kids.
*It's not as nice as a ball room
*They don't have very much experience with planning weddings so they don't have input on how to set up the rooms, nor will they help.
