@RheannaRaye: Odd that you got no response after just asking for one picture. Ours were back within 5 days.

@RheannaRaye:  I was married at the end of August and still have no professional photos back. Hang in there!

I would be a little worried about the lack of response…

But we got married in early May, and we didn’t get the pictures until late August/early September!

About 15 weeks later!

Our photographer contract says that he will get them back to us within 30 days.  I’m glad this is in our contract, because i have heard so many stories on here, where ladies are waiting for months and months.

Sorry this is happening to you!!!

We got married a week ago and my photographer told me at the end of the night that we should have them back by the beginning of December.

ETA: my contract states 3 to 8 weeks from the event

I have no idea why so many people have such trouble getting their photos back! I work for a photography company and we can get you photos back in a few days if you really want them, a week usually. Even during super busy season we would take 3 weeks at the very most. For engangement shoots or family photos you get them back in a few hours.

That’s a little strange…. we 1/2 got ours back after like 5 days and the other half after about 10. I’m surprised they didn’t respond to you

We got about 6 early photos in about a week, and the full set in just under a month.   I’d say look at your contract and see what it says.  Usually it will have a time frame in there.  I do think it is a nice courtesy if they will provide early photos upon being asked, and it doesn’t seem unreasonable for them to do that, given the cost of photography, but if it isn’t in the contract then technically they wouldn’t have to.

@RheannaRaye:  We got married July 20th, and haven’t seen anything, and the photographer has been MIA. I’ve emailed, FB messaged, texted, and haven’t gotten a response in a month. My mom has also emailed. I don’t want to seem like a crazy bride, but our videographer missed the ceremony, and the more I don’t hear from the photographer, the more worried I get something happened. (I hate confrontation and am avoiding the phone call. DH is calling today).

Photographer is SIL’s bff, but I don’t want to put her in an awkward position and go through her. She was also married the week after our wedding, so I can understand that it will take a little longer.
