professional cleaning

Hello! I’m not entirely sure I understand what you mean as a “professional” cleaning. If they just plop it into their maching and scrub it with a toothbursh, all chain jewelry stores (and most jewelers in general) will clean your jewelry for free; all you have to do is ask them. They’ll do it right in front of you or you can go shop around for a few minutes and come back. I recommend staying put, because some shady jewelers will swap out your diamond for a diamond of lesser clarity/color, so only leave your ring with a jeweler you know you can trust if you choose to do so.

For $40, you can invest in your own ultrasonic jewelry cleaner that will do the job just as nicely. The one I have uses water only to clean jewelry, so this makes it safe for all jewels such as pearls and emeralds, etc.

Hope this helps! 🙂

LadyPeacockk:  Where did your ring come from? I’m sure if you ask your jeweler they can recommend someone that will do it for you and provide the necessary documentation. My other advice is to pop out a phonebook and call jewelers in your area and ask. I think you might have better luck with private or non-chain jewelers.
