@EffieTrinket:  I’m in Ohio, so it may differ based upon region?!  But, I am paying for 8 ppl total, including myself, my trial, lashes for all, her assistant and traveling to us – a total of $800.00  That is part of my gift to them, and I am going to ask each to tip her the day of!!

Edit:  Although I have not rendered her services yet, I think it will absolutely be worth it, and will just add to the ‘peace’ I want for that morning.  There is something relaxing about someone else doing your make-up, or at least I am hopeful!!

I paid alot, but I did airbrush makeup, and it was SO worth it. It’s been well over a year, and honestly, I can’t remember the exact figure. I paid for all my girls, as well as mothers, as my gift to them. I think for me it was around $250, and then I think around $75/person for my girls. I paid for 6 bridesmaids, 3 moms, 1 flower girl. I also paid $10/person extra to do falsh eyelashes (it was included in the price for me). Everyone looked fantastic. My stepmom, who rarely wears much makeup, looked flawless. To this day people still rave about our makeup, and one of my recently engaged bridesmaids just booked the same girl for her wedding.

I opted for them to come to my home where we got ready, as opposed to a salon, for both hair and makeup. WAY less stressful and so much more comfortable.

@EffieTrinket:  I was in a wedding in August, and we will be using the same makeup artist(s) for our wedding.  It was $40 each (whether it was bride or  bridesmaid) and that included false lashes. And it was totally worth it!   To see people who paid $100+ makes me feel a little queasy honestly haha..but I guess it all depends on the area you are in!

@EffieTrinket:  I would say $95 including the trial is pretty good! Maybe a bit higher than other places but I will likely have to pay about $30-$40 just for the trail! $55 seems a tad high to me but not anything crazy!

I ended up paying about $800 for my hair/makeup, hair/makeup for 4 BM, and makeup for 2 others.

I think mine was around $180 or $190 for hair and makeup.  Everything else was $50 for each service.  I did have to pay travel, and I think mine was $25 or $50.

I thought it was worth it!  Especially the hair!!  Everyone looked great and I enjoyed getting to sit around and hang out together all morning.

The company who is coming to do my hair also does makeup, and it’s $90. I’m doing my own makeup though.

@EffieTrinket:  Pretty sure that is pretty average/lower end for bridal, especially if that includes a trial. Mine was a package deal, $120 for hair & makeup (not including trial but including lashes). Bridesmaid’s were $55, I believe as well and that was a destination wedding! I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup/do my hair and I felt like it was WELL WORTH it for the day of!

Makeup prices are very area dependent.

I got a deal on makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. Normal prices are 150.00 for bride and 75.00/bridesmaid/mothers. The deal I got saved me 90.00 total!

I’m going to get mine and my sister’s makeup done by a MUA .  I know nothing about makeup, I only wear lipstick lol. I figure let someone else do the work! They’re charging us $50 each.

Mine will be $50 for me, $30 for my bridesmaids and $25 each for my mom and my FI’s mom.  The $50 for me also includes a trial.  I actually found a MUA who does weddings on the side, and she was able to provide a bunch of pictures of her work so I felt comfortable with what we’ll be getting.  We’re in a pretty expensive area, so this was LOTS cheaper than most of the other options that I came across.
