Here are some pics of our big day. Honestly, everything went perfect. I know people may think it didn’t but it did. Despite me forgetting my night bag with a bridesmaid 🙂 haha. Oh well, I didn’t need cute nighties anyways right? LOL. Hubby and I had a great day and soaked it all up. I thought the wedding party looked FABULOUS with the color scheme and the flowers were to die for. Unique, classy, and elegant. Perfect for what I wanted. My flowers had to be flown in from holland (go figure) but they turned out just lovely. Thank you, Jim Hjelm, for making my dream dress, elegance and class but yet so simple. My photographer caught every moment perfectly. Not to mention, we were done with ALL the photos in UNDER an hour, that INCLUDES travel in downtown madison. Talk about TALENT!
We had pizza and ice cream at our reception. (Also, see our stunning cake which was…..CHOCOLATE MINT, Chocolate PB, and White with raspberry filling.) It’s all about the food people! WE had so many compliments on the food! We had a lot of other things besides pizza, ice cream and cake but that was the main theme. It was all displayed very well.
I also included our programs which hubby and I made ourselves, all 200 of them. People were impressed by them and we actually used the ones left over as part of our thank you cards. It was worth it to make them and add the personal touch. I also included the picture of the adorable CLUTCHES that I had made for my bridesmaids. Each one was made slightly different and it was perfect for my unique group of girls. They loved them! 🙂
If I had to “do it all over again”, I wouldn’t do a thing different. From the moment the doors opened to the time I got to the altar, I was focused on him. We cried like babies at the rehearsal but made it almost through the ceremony without tears. The pastor even cried. ahaha. IT was a day filled with pure love. I hope all of you brides just SOAK IT IN on that day. Enjoy it, after all we’ve been dreaming about this since we were so young! Enjoy your day! 🙂
PS- WE ALSO HAD A LATE NIGHT TACO/NACHO bar………. What a hit, not to mention hubby and I had a great snack back in our room 🙂 Along with the cake topper! Our cake lady makes us a brand new CAKE for our anniversary!!!!! 🙂 We’re SPOILED! 🙂 The cake tasted just like Ande’s candies! Oh my YuM! 🙂

@Mrs. Meowerson:Bridesmaids dresses were Bill Levkoff in Latte. I believe style 370.
@mzlouis2b: YAY! We had a late night nacho/taco bar too! It was so great!! SO many people came up to us complimenting on how much they LOVED the food. We were worried with such a “formal” wedding if we could pull of the pizza but the venue was BEAUTIFUL (we were the 2nd wedding ever there) and it was fabulously displayed! I’m excited to hear about your big day!!! 🙂
@aheavel: The Clutches came from Cute and Unique in POLAND. I was thrilled with the products, although as I mentioned in an earlier post, she was hard to stay in touch with. I think she’s probably better now, I expressed my thoughts with her. She really does beautiful work.
@Sulli301: I’m a huge marathon runner and triathlete, so my bridesmaids got me those shoes and BLINGED them out! I wore them at the reception after our dance! 🙂 That was my something blue 🙂
@MissComicBook:THANK YOU 🙂
Thanks, bees! You’re all too sweet!!!!!!! I’m excited to see your photos and hear about your day!!!!!! 🙂
