The above website has a tutorial on how to make them- goodluck!
i've seen a lot of different styles of this....
i don't really have any tutorials (since I haven't made mine yet!) but I love the idea, too!
obviously this would be a program (some i've seen attached to a stick!) and there's other ways for them to open if you wanted the to do so...
with pretty ribbons hanging from the bottom....
(sorry these pics are off... i couldn't find the ones i was looking for!)
i think you should decide whether or not you want them to open up, and then how you want it to be done. that's the hardest part, if you ask me! Good luck!
I'm a big fan of the kind with tounge depressors. Take a square, circle or square with rounded corners and stick it to a tounge depressor. I think we'll do a two sided program so the tounge depressor is hidden. Though I have been fancying those hand sewn binding type programs - oh indecision!!!!
for those single page program fans, i'd suggest you use very very VERY thick paper. i attended a wedding that had these fans and they were really flimsy; which was a shame since they looked so nice!

Has anyone made DIY program fans (you know, programs that double as fans)? I am considering trying it, seems pretty simple. Just wanted some design ideas. Thanks in advance, as always!
