I am looking for a template that is colorful and fun, but doesn't require Adobe Writer or Photoshop, b/c my computers don't have them.

I would like something like this:  http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/acProject?project=bellafloraweddingprogram&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&extcat=bellafloraweddingcollection

I made my programs with Word and Paint.  It's a little more difficult but can be done.  You can purchase damask images from www.stockxpert.com for a couple of dollars and create a text box on top of them to write on.  I did a quick search and Stockxpert has some damask prints in yellows and greens.

    http://www.stockxpert.com/browse.phtml?f=search&w=&txt=damask&p=1

    Good luck!

If you love one of those templates, I'd suggest finding a computer to use that does have adobe writer or a person (who has the software) to enter your content into the program.  If you have the content ready to go and can send someone the link, it will take just a few minutes to create the pdf and send it back to you.

Thanks Stasea, I have reached out to several people and they don't have it.  I'm thinking about going to Kinko's and seeing if they have the programs on their computers.

You can download a trial version of Adobe's programs at their website.  I think they have 60 or 30-day trials.  They don't have full functionality of all the bells and whistles, but you probably don't need 'em.

Fill in your details, and then be sure to save a version as a PDF ('cause once your trial stops working, if you need to make more print outs, etc. you won't have a copy!)  You might also try saving the background (without any text) as a very high res JPEG while you have the trial b/c if the worst happens, and you find later you need to make changes, you can cobble something together in Word or other more simple programs by using text boxes or columns/tables on top of the JPEG as a background.

It's possible to do something very similar by using Word (utilizing text boxes and/or columns/tables and tinting the background of your columns/tables), but it would probably take quite a bit of patience.

I've also never tried this, nor do I know how it works as far as Adobe files being openable, but there's a program called GIMP out there that's the open-source (free) version of Photoshop (or Illustrator, I forget which). Another WB poster might be able to shed some light on that for you.

I can easily convert those PDF files to JPG files for you.  Just let me know which one you like.    I will be glad to do it for you.
