program help... how to list the music?

posted 5 months ago in Beehive

Now that our invitations are off to print, we're turning to other design projects, including the programs.  Our friend is generously playing live music for us (classical guitar) and will do three pieces for us:

1) a lovely tune while people filter in and are seated

2) a second peice as a processional

3) a song with special meaning for us as a recessional

The processsiona/recessional are fairly straightforward to list, but what do we call the first one?

[need something here] - Song - Composer

Processional - Song - Composer

Recessional - Song - Composer

Somehow, music to be seated by doesn't quite work.  Intro?

Thanks!

Seating of the mothers or parents is something that I've seen on other programs.  But I think I'm going with Prelude.  It is what it is.

'prelude' will do just fine for the seating of the guests.  it'll still be part of the prelude for parents and grandparents, etc., just a different song so everyone knows when it's time to start.  my fiance is a pianist and has done music for ceremonies several times, he calls it the prelude.
