You have 245 people total? Or 245 families? If it is total people, 230 seems like a lot of programs. Most couples/families will share and a lot of people tend not to take programs. We have 200 people coming and I am only making 80 programs.
I will be making 1 program for each person. I know when I go to weddings, I like to have my own program and my FI likes to have his. It just makes it easier.
I think you should only make 1/2 the number of programs - I agree with the previous poster that many families witll share one - and not EVERYONE will be at the ceremony.
Yup 245 people total...and we're still missing a few RSVP's...
I think we'll print about 200 after seeing a few of your posts.

We are going to get our programs printed today...I was just wondering what amount you printed for the amount of your guests? We have about 245 for sure coming (families, kids included) and we're going to print 230...does this sound like a good number?
The programs attached are my inspiration (from http://weddings.theknot.com/Real-Weddings/69513/detailview.aspx?id=69513&type=3&wedding+details=programs&pageIndex=2) ...I have a lot of bows to tie in my future!
