Program Question

    Hi -

    I'm working on our program - right now I have the people involved in the wedding party listed as follows:

    Officiant

    Parents of the Bride

    Parents of the Groom

    Maid of Honor

    Best Man

    Bridesmaids

    Groomsman

    I need to add in the person who will be doing our reading - and I don't know what to call her!  Would I list her as "Reader" and then her name underneath?  Or is there a better term?  And where would she go in the list?  Right now I have it under groomsman, but she is incredibly important to me and I'd rather she not be last on the page.  Would love suggestions!

    ok so i just took out programs from the 2 most recent weddings i went to...the one has on the first page a separate section that says readers, then each person's name and their relation to the bride and groom, same as categories for bridesmaids and groomsmen...then they both have an 'order of servce' section that in one says which reading selection from the bible it is and then that person's name again, and the other just says first reading:person's name, cuz im not sure that her readings were from the bible...it wasnt a church wedding. so i would prob do a section entitled 'readers' underneath all the wedding party, and then in my order of service i would say what the reading was or title if its like a poem and their name again. hope that helps!!

    "Reader" is fine. :) I am listing it on an 'order of service' type of page. If you don't have multiple pages, I think after the bridal party is fine.

    In our program, we listed the Ceremony (in order of its events) on one side.  I included our readers' names at the point in the ceremony where they read.

    On another page, I listed the wedding party members.
