I wouldn't put anything about the lack of receiving line in the program. For the streamer wands for the exit, either put a cute note in the program or in a basket of some type. I would have a friend pass them out so that everyone gets them and knows what you are doing.
I would just have a friend one each side of the door handing them out to people; they will understand what they are for! As for the receiving line, people will just follow your lead. I don't think it's necessary to put it in writing.

We aren't going to have a receiving line at all. Should I put that in the program, and what's the best way to word it?
We also got streamer wands & throws for our exit. How should I word that they should get that? Or don't, and have something as they leave?
