We refer to it as a "challenge" in our program - used as a verb :)
I've heard it called the "Hands ceremony"... idk how you feel about using the word ceremony though since I guess the entire wedding is technically a "ceremony".

I am creating my wedding program and it is 99.9% finished. I am struggling with what to call the "final words" our officiant will be saying before announcing us husband and wife.
We are getting married in an awesome venue that isn't a church, and we are having a non-religious ceremony. God is not appearing at our wedding at all.
Here's the general order of the wedding ceremony:
Processional
Greeting
Reading I
Reading II
Exchange of vows/rings
DON'T KNOW WHAT TO PUT HERE
Presentation of Bride and Groom
Processional
----
So, what is going in the bolded spot is the parting words/message to us, which includes a few words from her and a reading also (she will be reading the poem/reading that starts with "These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you... for anyone who knows it)
It doesn't feel right to call this a "blessing", partly because it just isn't, and I associate "blessing" with religion
Any thoughts on what to call this part of our ceremony in the program?
THANKS BEES!!
