so i’m trying to finish up the text for our program and wondering about how others have done this. every program sample i’ve been given has a long (1/2 or full page) of acknowledgements to guests family etc. now, we definitely are going to do that and we DEFINITELY appreciate our fams/guests, but was wondering if anyone just does like 2 lines thanking everyone for coming and for being in our lives instead of long drawn out paragraphs (plus a sentence w/ names for those who have passed and can’t be there).
our program is alerady fairly wordy as we are explaining all the jewish wedding traditions we are using so i’m hesitate to add lots more writing. but if people are used to seeing a huge acknowledgement section, i don’t want it to look like we DON’T appreciate and love all the important people in our lives.
thoughts? examples you can show me? is this a dumb thing to worry about?
