Hi! I have a quick question for you, hive. At the ceremony, are we supposed to have someone passing out the programs? Or, can we just put them in a basket and have people grab them on their way in. What did you do? What works best? Thanks guys!

i'm still debating if i want programs or not. If I do, I'll probably put them with the place settings on the table since we aren't having assigned seats, only assigned tables.

It's totally up to you. You can designate someone to pass them out, put them in a basket, put them on place settings, put them on ceremony chairs, or i've seen them in invitations too.

Like the previous poster stated, it is up to you how you want to do this. If you have an extra person that you would like to include, you can have them pass out the programs and the guests arrive; however, I think that putting them on the seats is the easiest and most efficient way to get them to each guest. I will be having programs and they will be placed on the guests seats prior to them arriving.

well, we have pews, not seats so it's going to be difficult to gauge how many people will be sitting in one pew. i think i would rather put them in a basket, but i don't want anyone to miss getting one. hm.. i'm not sure.

Can you find out from the church how many people can sit in a pew? Also, maybe an usher or two or a jr. bridesmaid or jr. groomsman could pass them out for you.

maybe you could make little baskets for each pew to put them in.
