I wouldn't recommend renting a screen, you can just use a white sheet or a wall, much cheaper!! Maybe someone else can help with the projector rental suggestion?
I am in Chicago so I can't specifically recommend a rental place, but we rented our projector and screen from a local photography/videography equipment rental superstore called Helix Camera & Video Rental. Maybe you can find a similar rental place near you if you google "camera rental".

I live in Los Angeles, CA. I plan to have a slideshow played at our reception (during cocktail hour), basically to show our childhood pictures and pictures taken at the ceremony for people who didn't attend the ceremony to view. But I want to put the slideshow together myself. We need to rental a project/big screen. Does anyone know where I can rent? Thanks in advance!
