(Closed) Projecting photos on the wall, yay or nay?!

Hmmm, I think it depends how big you want to project these photos and if you want people staring at them all night, a slide show of photos on a wall sounds pretty distracting to me. As for uplighting, check with your DJ and they might be able to set up a package for you. I’m not doing uplighting so I can’t help much but I do know our DJ offers it as an upgrade

I think this is a great idea (although I have to admit we have a background slideshow playing above our bar).   I think the trick is to not do this during the dinner, speeches, etc. but have it as something fun during the dancing.  That way, people who don’t want to dance (like grandparents!) will have something to enjoy and putting in pics of you two with the people attending would be a nice touch.

It would be nice for a while. I would look at the pictures for a few minutes, but then probably move on. There’s nothing wrong with it though 🙂

I once went to a reception where the DJ projected the music videos for the songs they were playing (not rap… classic rock), so that was VERY cool! See if your DJ can do that!
