Oh my! I have so many projects I've been putting off! I need to get on the ball!!!

We are almost 2 months out - yikes! This is what I've been avoiding...
-Addressing invitations.
-Figuring out the decorations for our tent... reeeeally don't care anymore on this one.
-Deciding on a final menu.
-Designing our programs...well, I have them designed, but I have to figure out the wording... blech.
-booking our flights...oops!
-flowers...yawn.
-presents for our parents, ring bearer and flower girl. I kinda know what I'm doing, but I have to actually DO it, you see.
@Rocktsrgn i was also trying to figure out the decoration for the tent but after much thinking i decided not to spend the money on that...
OMG I FORGOT ABOUT INVITES! We have them picked out, paid for, and they're being shipped next week but I don't want to address them!
1. Flowers- I'm being indecisive
2. Renting chairs for outdoor ceremony and figuring out how they will get set up
3. Addressing invites
4. making programs and place cards- I have the stuff I just don't feel like doing it.
5. His ring
6. All the mens' clothing
(those last two are not my fault, lol!)

This is really bad but Im putting off writing our ceremony! I just havent found the time/energy to do it recently!!!
Im also putting off invitations....I figure theyll get done sooner or later!
Right now I'm putting off working out a menu for FI to tweak for the wedding, because he can't make any decisions by himself. I'm also putting off looking at bakeries for our cake and decorations for the venue...oh and reserving the day at the venue. Bleh!
Um all of the above?
We just figured out (not signed anything) our caterer and venue...that's enough until after we get back from vacation.

This is supposed to be fun, right?! lol..
I addressed two thirds of my invites tonight!! It took FOR-EV-ER. Oh, and I found my guest book photo album at Barnes and Noble tonight. I never get two things checked off my list.
Still putting off favors, bridesmaid dress buying for my girls, and program design. Booo.
I'm putting off the big important things. Like the timeline of the day/what is ACTUALLY going to happen at the reception (see Miss Scissors post on this exact thing.) Pretty much sums up where I'm at!
KMSull - I'm sure you know this already, but I encourage you to do the birth control thing pronto...I found that it took me a couple of months to adjust to the hormonal changes, and you don't want to bee any more of an emotional mess on the big day!
everything! omg I have put off wedding planning for a month after I failed a pharmacology exam...now that it's spring break reality is starting to hit!!
Get on that DJ...everything else on your list is not as time sensitive
Me: gotta get groom/men tuxes figured out, rentals, and start making invitations
@ Magenta - yeah, I'm really kind of over the whole decorations thing. Our wedding is in a garden. It's GORGEOUS. Why the heck do we need more? The correct answer is that we don't. But I showed FI a picture of a beautifully decorated tent earlier, and now he reeeaally wants that. I put him in charge of putting it together the day before, but now I've got to order the stuff. Blech.
@everyone else - thanks for sharing this stuff! It makes me feel better knowing I'm not alone in this. :)
1) Figuring out ceremony music.
2) Figuring out receptions toasts.
3) Figuring out where the groomsmen are going to stay.
4) Making seating charts and little place tags. UGH UGH UGH.
- Booking our dj (yes, we've already found them and I'm just too lazy to book)
- Blocking hotels
- Finishing our wedding website
I go through phases where I want to get everything checked off my list and then I don't want to do any wedding stuff. And why does every project involved 15 decisions I didn't know I was going to have to make and take 10 times longer than I thought?
Things I need to do sooner than later:
- nail down the paper stuff - invitations, thank you notes, escort cards, table numbers, menus, programs, etc, etc, etc
- decide on and buy shower hostess gifts
- find/hire the church soloist
- select our music for the wedding
- select our "songs" - first dance, father/daughter, mother/son, introduction song, etc, etc.
- wedding favors
- out of town bags
I'm getting tired looking at my list!

Is anyone else putting off wedding related projects? I have exacly 140 days til my wedding and I have SO much I'm not willing to do at the moment, such as...
* Finding a DJ
* Nailing down our catering contract
* Our engagement pictures
* Finishing our registries
* OOT bags
* Bridesmaids dresses (they know about them, and they don't take that long to make where we're getting them, I just don't caaaaaaaare enough to get them the info)
* Going to the Dr. for birth control
* Figuring out what centerpieces I can do myself and which I'm going to leave up to the caterer
* Making my flower girl wands
