I bought it about a week ago....it was the very first dress i tried on :)
I am also wearing this dress and I am in love! It's just so timeless and elegant. It just came in and my first fitting is next weekend. I can't wait!
I absolutely LOVE that! The detailing is great and it is NOT plain at all....very elegant
This was one of my contenders, but then "Megan" stole my heart from the same collection :)
It also was "really" simple, but the slight addition of a little belt/embellishment took it to a whole new level. The 2nd time I tried on the dress, we added the belt closer to under the bust and I like that more...
I'd love to see more "real" people in the dress. I don't know who shot the pronovias fall collection, but all the models are bendy and contorted and don't flatter the true dress form.
I think its simple, but thats my taste. It is a classic shape, but lacks lace, sparkle, pearls... w/e someone else may envision as beautiful. Personally, it sorta has to have one of the three for me to love (like KLP's Megan), but for you it may be the perfect gown and thats okay!
That's a really, really beautiful dress! Love it! Very, very classic.
@KLP- I think they had an industrial fan underneath each dress, and an army of photoshoppers with good ol' liquify on standby. :p
This reminds me of an Amsale dress I tried on. Not my style but very nice!
Although it is too plain, there are a lot of elements I do like about this dress and I need to print it out and take to my next bridal salon. Thanks.
@KLP - that belt is exactly what i'm looking for! is it made by pronovias?
Yup, it is off another Pronovias Dress.
Be warned though, I'm not buying that exact belt for my "Megan." The store told me to order that belt from Pronovias it would probably be $400-600! HA, darn it.
I'm wearing Pronovias Grecia - I'm such a huge fan of the line, and think the classic look will stand the test of time. If you feel like Georgia is a little too "plain" you can always wear great earrings/necklace/bracelet, although I think this is an incredible dress as-is.
This is the Pronovias dress I'm wearing:
I acually thought it might be tooo plain too ...so i had them add swarovski crystals to the center of the bodice ( where is splits) ...now its perfect!
Not yet unfortunately...Ill be getting my dress in june!! :)
Ill get some posted then :)
I love the Georgia. I tried it on and it was a final contender. I did think it was a little short in the bodice for me, and I found myself torn between letting the waist settle to the right spot, and feeling the need to pull it up. I do not think it is to plain at all. I think it's so called simplicity is stunning and timeless. And the fabric is amazing in person.
I think it's gorgeous! It's interesting enough to stand on its own with the ruching and neckline, but also simple enough that you can play with jewelry and accessories and not make it look over the top!
that dress is so beautiful! i love how simple and classic it is
I love this dress and I can't wait to try it on in a few weeks when I go dress shopping! I initially fell in love with Judd Waddell's style 38 dress, but Georgia is so similar to that and much less expensive, and it's become my top contendor. I love simple dresses - I don't want extra adornments like crystals or beads, so this is perfect. It's simple without being boring.
One of my favourite also. You will look back years to come and not regret choosing such a timeless dress.
I'm wearing the Georgia - here are pics from the first time I tried it on - I knew then and there that this was the dress!
Well well well, with so many of you buying this dress, I might go and try it on too. I love them very simple.
Check out these posts featuring Georgia - the bride altered the neckline to a sweetheart! Such a beautiful dress girls! :)

Wow, I love the sweetheart on this gown! I actually probably would have gotten it if that was the "look."
I'm algo a Georgia bride!! Here's a pic of me on it, my first fitting is in september 17th!!!
This dress is so gorgeous and elegant! I'm stuck between this one and the Mori Lee 4524.
I'm a georgia bride too!! :) this is me when I first tried it on, it was the first dress I tried on
@tiny87: you look great on it!! It was also the first dress I tried, and I immediatly fell in love with it, it's so classic, so beautiful!! I can't waiiit to wear it !
Hi, every1's pics are gorgeous! I was just wondering what size hoop georgia brides are wearing/wore?? Please help! xx
I wore the Georgia for my July wedding. I added a little bling with an antique brooch. I got so many compliments on the dress, it is so elegant and beautiful!
To the ladies who wore the Georgia... what kind of bustle did you use??
its big train and i dont want it to look messy :S
Absolutely stunning. While I'm not a huge fan of the "crumb catcher" neckline, Pronovias does it right on this gown!
