@disgraziata:  I tried it on! The top layer doesn’t come off, but people have made it detatchable with little buttons or snaps under the bust so that they’re hidden. I assume it would look somthing like the LaSposa Denia or the Pronovias Finisterre bustled- so that would be this:

Here’s me in the Petunia when I tried it on-

It was too big so the straps didn’t lay right and the dress wasn’t quite fitted enough, but you get the idea!

I’m a Petunia bride as well. I ordered my dress from the NYC Flagship store. With the dress plus alterations and a small discount, I’m paying a total of ~2500. I’m also adding a crystal belt to the dress so the total might actually be around 2700.

Just thought everyone might be interested in how the dress looks with a veil. I didn’t even know I had this picture, since I didn’t remember trying on a fingertip veil, only cathedral, which was too many layers.
