My dress is Pronovias....I got it for $900 but they gave me a huge discount because it was a dress that someone bought and never picked up..I think it was $1700 range...depends on the line you get as well.. the Manuel Moto dresses for Pronovias are much more I believe..
Thanks,
I've got my eyes on a manuel moto dress actually, the templo. Just trying to do some price research so I'm less shocked when I finally get to look at it.
I got my Manuel Mota dress for $1200, but it was a sample and I think the original price was something like $1800. I also tried on a Pronovias dress at a different salon that was $2200.
Hope this helps!
If you go to the NYC flagship store, few dresses are under $2000. I went in there claiming that was my budget (even though I wanted to spend much less!), and they had very little for me to try on-- and I went during a trunk show! If you buy the samples, yes, it's much much cheaper. And obviously their lace dresses run more expensive than there satin ones, etc. Beautiful styles though, but do try them on in person because some that look subtle and romantic are really intricate and over the top.
My Pronovias Gabon dress was marked $1500 at the trunk show that I went to, but I got a big discount for buying the sample.
Definitely a large range, I went to the NYC flagship and tried on things in the 1200-1500 and then in the 3000-4000. If you like the look, I think, though I am not 100% sure on this, the San Patrick line has very similar styles and is their more affordable line...
My Pronovias was $1700 but because I bought the sample I got it for $900
I bought the Manual Mota Scarlet...the store was selling it for around $1800 and I was able to purchase it for about $1400 (I had to buy the sample as I was purchasing a second dress and was short on time).
Mine was quite a bit more than what you all are saying but it has a lot of lace so I think that has something to do with it - $2080 for the Gironde.
Thanks for all of the information, I'm feeling a bit more prepared. I have my heart set on (the picture of) the templo, so here's to hoping I still love it in person, and that the price tag isn't tooo astronomical :).
Thanks again!!
It is my experience that the La Sposa line of Pronovias dresses are cheaper. My La Sposa Fanal was $850.
Um.. I just got married in January.. My best friend is getting engaged soon and I am afraid her budget is going to be well over mine. She has been planning it since high school. Castle in LI, personalized wine bottles from Europe... I am honored to be in her party but me and my husband just paid for a wedding, opened a small business and are moving. We want to save up before we have a baby. This on top of paying chid support (for a child we have from Wed to Sun!!) leaves me not a lot of excess spending money. I also have been knit picking at him for his extra spending.
My bridesmaid dresses were $150, my bachelorette party was local and I told my sister to keep my shower low key. I only had 90 guests at the wedding. I'm afraid the size and type of wedding etc. she will have will be a lot more than I am able to afford, or can spend without my husband getting mad.
I have two questions. How much are the bridemaids dresses from the same line.
And if things go overboard how do I explain with out her thinking I'm ungrateful?
I tried on a couple in the San Patrick line last weekend. One was $1200, the other was $1400.
I tried on a bunch, and all were between $1050 and $2500 (or thereabouts). I was firm about my budget and wouldn't look at any dresses over $2500.
My dress was either $1350 or $1750 retail (I can't remember right now, sorry), but I got it for $1050 because it was a sample, though it looks like its never been worn.
I was wondering how long it typically takes for their dresses to come in. I ordered mine March 20th and am hoping it comes sometime before the end of August. Do you think 5 months is enough?
Galante for me too! But it was about $900 from a bridal shop in LA.
@Sarah - mine just came in, and I ordered it right before Christmas--so that was like 3 months.
Woo hoo...thanks @moneypenny02 for the encouraging news. Anyone else have similar timelines? Please tell me yes! ;)
their dresses are amazing! my friend just bought one for about $2500, the mercadel. just stunning and such a statement.
Mine, the MEGAN was about $1750
The 2nd choice for me, GEORGIA was listed at about $930
For me, with the alterations I needed, they would have cost the same so I went with my real love, Megan.
@moneypenny...you scored the Galanted for $900?! i actually got 10% off the $1150 but i'm still surprised you got your's for $900 in LA! But isn't your sales tax like, 9%?
and YAY you got it? will you need alterations? post photos! :)
@moneypenny: which bridal shop in LA did you get the Galante? i really like the dress, however it is $800 for me to rent at a korean bridal shop in LA!! please advise!
Did you find out which boutique in LA the Galante was purchased from? I love it but not the cost of it in Aus.
I bought a Pronovias new for $1200. The other Pronovias' that I tried on were in the same price range.
So sorry! Haven't checked this thread in forever. I don't know if its too late for you, but I purchased my dress from Karoza bridal in Glendale. They had a large selection of Pronovias dresses and I saw ones that I had tried on elsewhere and cost $1100-$1200 for around $800-$900.
Good luck!
I have a size 10 length altered only gown. It is a Spring 2010 Pronovias Melbourne is absolutely perfect condition (dry cleaned and not preserved with NO stains). See pix below. I purchased it for an amazing deal price of $1400, considering the retail on it is over $3k. That's what you get for shopping around in the Chicago suburbs versus the boutiques downtown.
I was swarmed with compliments on the wedding day. It's a very regal and classic dress yet has a very dramatic and modern design.
I'd love to pass on the savings to an amazing bride. Please email/message me and make an effort. It's been hanging in my apartment for a few months and I'd like to see it worn again! Can't wait to hear from one lucky lady.

Hello Hive,
Just wondering if anyone knows what the price range for a pronovias wedding dress is?
Thanks,
