(Closed) proper to put postage on rsvp envelopes?

I don’t know that it is proper, but I’ve heard that the reason is to insure that people get them back to you. I’m still not decided on this one, but I might just do it as ours are the smallest legal size to send as postcards, so they’ll only be 28 cents instead of 46 or whatever the going rate is now.

yes it is.  please don’t leave the postage off.  If you must save money, make an RSVP postcard.  Postcard stamps cost less.

I once received an invite that didn’t have postage on the rsvp envelope.  I thought it was rude and tacky.  I was mad about having to put the stamp on myself and didn’t want to rsvp.  I still haven’t forgotten about this!  If you do this I can assure you that many of your guests will think similarly to me.
